Natural Rosewood long mala, made with 6mm beads. This mala of 108 beads, excluding the head bead,is strung on strong thread with dyed Acai seed marker beads every 27th bead, a Acai seed head bead and a 100% cotton tassel to finish. Copper coloured Tibetan style metal spacer beads highlight the Palmwood markers.
These natural wood beads are from the Philippines. ROSEWOOD from the Philippines has pale coloring with soft pink overtones. Rosewood beads are hard, very smooth, with a nice, loose, wood grain.
Acai Beads (Ah-si-ee) and are the core (pit) of the Açaí Berry fruit. They are sourced from a company that recycles the seeds from the Acai juice markets where they are a waste product. Each bead has a unique shape and markings. The acai seeds and tassel are available in green, mulberry red and purple.
Please note that wood and seed beads should be kept dry. Best not to take them in the shower with you!
The mala measures over the 108 beads approximately 66cm (26 inches). Laid flat and measured from top to toe, with the tassel and head beads, it is around 38cm (15 inches).
